Chefs Move to Schools Resources

The ACFEF Chef & Child Foundation (CCF) believes that the Chefs Move to Schools program can truly turn the tide on the obesity epidemic in this country. CCF is proud to offer resources for chefs to use in their communities and schools.

Nutrition Resources

Each month, CCF releases “Culinary Nutrition News” and “Ingredient of the Month,” professionally researched articles that are free for anyone to use. Download Archives

That’s Fresh - Kids Cooking Team is a hands-on, community based cooking and nutrition education curriculum that is free for anyone to use. Download (9.96 MB)

Website Resources

Here are several additional resources that may help as you begin your Chefs Move to Schools outreach.

  • Cooking Matters is a cooking based nutrition education program that teaches families how to prepare healthy, tasty meals on a limited budget.
  • Killer at Large: Chef educators can order a free, 20-minute educational version of the “Killer at Large” film.
  • USDA MyPlate offers many resources for kids age 6–11, from posters to worksheets.
  • Whole Grains Council has free educational resources for schools and educators.
